Our story
Moovfast was founded in 2024 by a team of operators, engineers, and African logistics veterans who had spent years watching the same problem play out in city after city: the people who actually move parcels — the dispatch companies, the riders, the drop-off agents — were running their entire businesses on WhatsApp groups, paper logs, and improvised spreadsheets. Meanwhile, every new app that promised to fix it was built for one company, in one city, and disappeared the moment funding ran out. We set out to build something different: not another logistics app, but the platform underneath them all.
What we do
Moovfast is a multi-tenant SaaS platform. That means any registered dispatch business — large or small — can spin up a fully branded operation on Moovfast in minutes: their own customer app, their own driver app, their own admin dashboard, their own fares, zones, and settlement rules. We handle the engineering. They handle the riders, the routes, and the customers they already know.
On top of that, Moovfast runs a cross-company marketplace. When a customer books a trip and no specific company is selected, the request is broadcast to drivers across every active Moovfast company in that zone. The first to accept wins the job. That single mechanic turns a fragmented industry into a live, competitive network — and it gives every operator on the platform access to demand they could never reach alone.
Why Africa
African logistics is not a smaller version of the same problem the West already solved. It is its own problem — denser, more informal, more cash-driven, more two-wheeled, and far more underserved by the global software industry. Building from inside the continent, with engineers and operators who live the constraints daily, is the only way the right product gets built. Moovfast is headquartered in Nigeria and built to work first in the cities our team grew up in.
How it works
An operator signs up at moovfast.com, configures their company on a subdomain, defines the zones they cover and the fares they charge, and goes live the same day. Riders download the Moovfast driver app and onboard against that operator. Customers either install the operator's branded customer app or use the open Moovfast marketplace app to book any company in their city. Every trip — single-operator or cross-company — runs through the same dispatch engine, the same settlement ledger, and the same audit trail.
Built for operators, not just for tech
Most logistics software is sold to corporate fleet managers. Moovfast is built for the person actually running the company — the founder with twelve riders, the manager dispatching from a back room, the operator opening their second city. Pricing scales with revenue. Onboarding is in hours, not weeks. Support is human, in local time zones, and reachable on the channels people actually use.
Who we serve
Today, Moovfast supports parcel dispatch, document courier, ride-hailing, and on-demand delivery use cases. Our customers include independent dispatch companies, e-commerce fulfillment teams, food and pharmacy delivery operators, and corporate fleets that prefer to run their own brand instead of operating under someone else's marketplace.
Where we are going
Our roadmap is unapologetically continental. We are building toward a single dispatch network that spans every major African city — one rider can switch employers without switching apps, one customer can book any company without switching apps, one operator can expand into a new city without rebuilding their tech. That is the operating system we are here to ship.
